Simba and Nala your two new best friends

Simba is a 6-year-old Chihuahua. Nala is a 6½-year-old Chihuahua x. They are a bonded pair and they must stay together.

Their owner sadly passed away, but these two were very much loved family members. They haven’t come from neglect or a rough background — they’ve simply found themselves needing a new home through no fault of their own.

Nala is the boss.

She’s a little more reserved when she first meets you, but once she decides you’re one of her people, she’s actually the cuddliest of the two. She also keeps Simba firmly in line with the occasional warning growl. Simba, wisely, listens.

Simba is the class clown.

He’s confident, energetic, friendly and always ready for something to happen. On walks, Simba needs to sniff absolutely everything. Nala, meanwhile, sees no need for all that nonsense and simply walks.

They are crate trained, good with cats and friendly with other dogs. Because they’re small, they can be a little wary around unfamiliar dogs at first, although Simba generally just wants to lick everyone and start a game.

They would probably be happiest with older children. Nala can be a little unsure of boisterous handling, but once she knows she’s safe and nobody is going to rough-house her, she warms up beautifully.

They are fine together if you work and they are left together, but they will also live to sit on your lap, or at your feet if you work from home. 

These two really are a double act — one bossy little lady and one cheerful goofball.

They’ve already lost their person. Now they just need someone willing to give both of them their next chapter together.
