Meet Yogi!

Yogi is an 8-month-old working-line German Shepherd with a big personality to match his big paws. True to his name, he’s a goofy, energetic boy who loves people and brings enthusiasm to everything he does. Because Yogi can be quite excitable, he’d be best suited to a home without young children.

He would absolutely thrive with a playful, confident large female dog who can keep up with his energy and enjoy a good romp. Yogi is still very much a puppy and learning the ropes. He’s working on his recall and may pull on the lead at the start of walks, but with consistency and continued training, he has all the potential to shine. The good news? He’s housetrained, crate trained, and generally respectful in the home—he doesn’t tend to chew for the most part.

Yogi is looking for an active, committed family who understands working-line shepherds and is happy to continue his training, give him structure, and help him grow into the brilliant dog he’s meant to be. If you’re ready for an intelligent, playful companion who will keep you on your toes (and make you laugh), Yogi might just be your guy.
