Buddy is a gentle soul with a heart full of love and loyalty. True to his name, he is a devoted little shadow who adores being close to his people and would happily join you on both quiet days at home and exciting, athletic adventures.

Buddy is toilet trained, walks beautifully on the lead, and is calm and polite around visitors, no barking at the front door! He gets along well with other dogs, though he prefers a thoughtful, slow introduction while he gets to know them. Buddy is also good with cats, and he loves people.

Buddy would love a home with a secure, shaded back garden, as he can feel a little nervous when left alone and settles best when he has a calm, safe space of his own. On walks, he may pause to process new sights and sounds, so he’s looking for a patient, understanding human who will give him time, reassurance, and encouragement as he continues to build confidence.
