Beautiful Suds

Suds and her sister Wash had a dramatic start to life – a small surprise litter discovered a few weeks after their mother, Pepper, was flown in from Broome and her foster carer realised she was pregnant.

On the day they were born, Pepper found her way into a half-renovated laundry and tucked the newborns into a hidden nook behind the sink, where no human could reach!

For their first week, they lived completely unseen behind the wall until Pepper finally accepted a comfier, more accessible nesting spot. With an origin story like that, their laundry-themed names were a must!

Suds is the more reserved sister – gentle, observant, and happiest taking things at her own pace. She enjoys playtime and exploring her foster home but prefers to warm up to people slowly. She coexists with the large resident dog and isn’t afraid to stand her ground if he gets a little too close.

After a good run around with Wash, Suds loves curling up for a cosy afternoon nap – the perfect moment to offer a gentle pat or scratch behind the ear.

She has grown up in a house full of cats and really thrives with feline company, so she’d be happiest in a home with another playful cat. And if you’re dreaming of double the fun, she’d be thrilled to be adopted with her sister Wash.
