Florence has had a poor start to life, she turned up on a mine site with her 6 kittens who have all been adopted now. She was trapped and brought to Perth to come into care. She had obviously been someone’s pet, and then either wandered away or been dumped. It’s taken a few months and she is now learning to trust humans again. She is still timid when meeting new people and hides until she gets to know them. Florence would be more suited to a family with older children, couples or single person home. She would be okay as an only cat or in a home with a confident cat who will stand up to her. She is happy with her own company, sleeping on the chair or bed. She loves to play with toys especially soft ones, throwing them in the air and catching them. Florence also likes balls and will play soccer with you. She likes being stroked but on her terms and often rubs against our legs when we are in the kitchen
