My name is Tris.
I was named after the dauntless heroine of "Divergent". She is a lot braver than I am though. I still have a tendency to hide from visitors, but this comes from being found on a University campus when I was just a kitten. I enjoy being patted, but it has to be on my terms.

I am a bit of a loner, I can take or leave other kitties, I tend to keep out of their way mainly, but sometimes I don't mind spending time with my brother. Children or dogs would probably scare me a fair bit.

I am very agile and I love to sit in high places, and am also really fond of any sunny spot in the house.

I am bi-lingual - I understand some Japanese! I know that "asa gohan" means "breakfast" and "ikimashou" means "let's go!!" and I know exactly where to go - especially when breakfast means fishy things which I like very much. However if you call me for breakfast in English I will understand it too.
